Call for short film Submission and Application to CineSLAM, Vermont\u2019s Short Film Festival (Vermont, June 2016) and CineSLAM Film Slam Workshops (takes place on\u00a0Norwegian Epic<\/em>, Barcelona to Western Mediterranean, June 5-12, 2016).<\/p>\n

Application deadline is December 15, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be accepted to the CineSLAM workshop a short film must be submitted and accepted by the CineSLAM Film Festival (click here<\/a>\u00a0for details)<\/p>\n

This will be our 9th CineSLAM Workshop for emerging filmmakers of LGBT films that takes place during\u00a0Pride of the Ocean\u2019s LGBT Film festival on the High Seas<\/a>(June 5-12, 2016).<\/p>\n

We accept 8\u00a0filmmakers<\/strong>\u00a0who are awarded a merit scholarship, which covers cabin and board on the\u00a0Norwegian Epic<\/em>\u00a0and partial travel grant to embarkation city, Barcelona.<\/p>\n

The CineSLAM Workshops are facilitated and sponsored by the\u00a0Kopkind Colony (www.kopkind.org)<\/a>and the\u00a0Center for Independent Documentary (www.documentaries.org)<\/a>
\nOur Programmer is John Scagliotti, Administrator of the Kopkind Colony, and Facilitator Susi Walsh, Executive Director of the\u00a0 Center for Independent Documentary.<\/p>\n

Merit scholarships are provided in part by a grant from the\u00a0Center for Independent Documentary<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Chessie Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Application Fee for Workshop which also includes submission fee for Film Festival is\u00a0\u00a0$25<\/strong><\/p>\n

While there is a desire for diversity for our program there is no requirement that the filmmaker be LGBT.<\/p>\n

Short films are eclectic and can be documentary, narrative, animation or web series. A short film for submission needs to be 15 minutes or less.\u00a0 (Feature length or television documentaries in production or even finished can submit a short version of 10 minutes or less).\u00a0 We prefer workshop material for our Film Slams to be material in production, but finished material may also be accepted.<\/p>\n
